Junkin on the Penninsula

Happy Monday.
It was time to head to the beach property last weekend to mow and check things out. It is hard to believe that we hadn't been there since October for Clam Diggin. Saturday was a beautiful sunny day so I made some time for junkin.
Got these wonderful statues that will be perfect at my booth at the Antique and Collectible Show March 7 & 8.
Be sure to look for me there.

This bag of vintage floral ribbon was a steal. I love all the spring colors.

Had to have this little shelf and pillow, I love this blue color.

These little lanterns are sooooo shabby. They come on a garden stand and each one of these are little bird feeders.

I have become very fond of these shoe stretchers. This piece of vintage tapestry was a must have and I am sure I will find the perfect use for it.
Hope you all have a fantastic week.
Julie

Weekly Finds

Hi Y'all
Wanted to share some of my finds from this week. Check out this coop. I was soo excited to find this at the GW. I am not sure how I will display it????? But I thought "Wouldn't this be great in the Barn House Boys Sale..."?
Joe, I will make you a deal....

This chair was longing for a new home. For $5 I couldn't resist. I gave it a creamy linen paint job, now just needs my finishing touch. I also found this lovely pillow to add to my collection.

Molly and her new pink Tutu. Don't mind the junk (My husband would totally take offense calling our Restored 1968 Chevelle with a 396 Junk) in the background....My garage is FULL!!!!!

Some old fashioned bloomers, vintage buttons and a Doilie.

I got this picture at the Auction. It had an ugly picture in it that I replaced with this cottage print.
Looks Fabulous.

This is instant ancestry. Hang it on your wall and let your imagination run away.......

This dresser was a steel from Craigs List. $20 just had to replace the ugly knobs with these beautiful glass ones and it totally changed the look from drab to fab!

Rockin Blog Party

Happy Monday!
Wanted to share some photos of the Blog Party I attended on Saturday in lovely Silverton, Or at Joy's. I had a wonderful time and everyone made me feel so welcome.

Here a couple of pictures of Joy's home. It is total eye candy. How does she do it?

This is one of my favorites. My husband would kill me if I did this to our fireplace. How would we heat the house????

Betty and Christa hard at work making their crowns. They turned out beautiful. For some reason I didn't get a photo of the finished project but you can check it out at http://www.kindredroses.blogspot.com/

Here is Lisa and Joy, wonder what their cookin up?

Jori's crown turned out perfect.
Here is Joy from "A Day in the Life" and Cindy from "Queen of Tarte" Both of these Chic's are very talented. Cindy is having her first barn sale on Feb. 21st in Oregon City. Be sure to check out her blog for details.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. I dont know about you but I am longin for summer.....

A Little Treasure to Share

Happy Monday
I wanted to share the place where I come up with all my best ideas and dreams.
(When I am supposed to be sleeping)

Here are some treasures that I came home with from the Auction. Mike and I had a lot of fun. Some Limoges and Versailles where included in this lot of French and Danish Porcelain.

Some Old Glory Vintage Flags were a steal. Mike knew just how to fold them up for me (being a Military Vet and all). They will look perfect in my 4Th of July Vignette.

Here are some more treasures to dye for. Peals, Rose painted Porcelain salt and pepper shakers, vintage perfume bottles, cameo powder box, a couple of old jewelry box's that will get a little makeover and some old silver spoons.

This was my favorite find. A complete Silver Tea Set. I was going to polish it but I think I love it just the way it is.

This is a piece that Mike and I found at a Farm Sale in Dayton this Summer. It was in the kitchen of a 100 year old farm house. I love the detail on the drawer pulls. That's what stole my heart. It did need a serious bath though...yuk. My friend Debbie from Worthy Goods told me on Saturday "Keep what you love, if you don't love it get rid of it" So I proceeded home, took out a table that I didn't love and replaced it with this piece that I absolutely love. I use it for all of my wine, champagne and bar ware along with some yummy spirits.

Here is how I decorated it.

Hope you all have a fantastic week. And if you are going to the Blog Party I will see you there.
