A Trip to Long Beach and Some Recent Finds

It's beginning to look like Spring at our Beach Property in Long Beach, WA.
We made the trek Friday night, only to be welcomed by a long Saturday of RAIN!!! Actually not just Rain, but NON STOP POURING RAIN.
I did get out and do some junkin and take these wonderful pictures.

My plants are awakening from a long Winter's nap.

I found these wicker chairs, and wooden shelf at a garage sale on Friday. The chairs will find a new home on my patio. You can come by and try them out at the
Whimsical Wishes Show
April 25th at my home in Camas, WA.

Here is the Tiffany lamp I also got at that same sale. Can you say STEAL @ $2.00!!!

This Pink Shabby Chic Coffee Table I found at the Antique Mall in Long Beach. I love it!!! It will be making the trip to Redmond for the JBUGS Sale this Saturday.

And this little Green Stool definitely said "TAKE ME HOME."
I am not quite sure what to do with the color. Do I leave it as is or paint and distress it???
What do you think?

A Little Spring Cleaning

Houston, we have a problem.
OK, so here is the scenario. I have three, yes three dressers in my bedroom and clothes scattered everywhere because these dressers and closet are full. Drastic times calls for drastic measures. A little spring cleaning was in order. Sidney and I worked until 10:30pm cleaning out my closet, dresser #1, dresser #2, her closet where I had some things.....and the linen cupboard. How on earth I got so many dang table cloths is beyond me. These were the bags that we took to the GW drop station. Ten yes Ten and I still have Two more. We also unloaded a canopy we were wanting to get rid of and an old stove. Feels great to clean up!!!!

Here is a old cabinet that I got from my friend Marci at Cottage Lights. It came from her farmhouse in Red Wing, MN. Very primitive. My husband looked at me like "I hope you didn't pay more than $5 for that thing" No honey, I didn't...choke choke....

When I have the inside all finished I will post a picture!

ard at work on homework. This star I picked up at Camas Antiques. I love it! Creamy Ivory with a hint of sparkle and some light Pink Polka dots. Her beautiful Antique Iron Bed is covered up by her love of pillows.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Fantastic Show at Expo

Expo was a big blur, just like this picture.....

This is how it went down. Thursday morning Marci from Cottage Lights picked me up at 8am. We were off to Carson for some last minute junkin. What was I thinking?????? We went through 9 outbuildings...Oh my. I was a little overwhelmed. Purchased our incredible finds, load up the truck (boy was it loaded) head back to Camas, unload the truck, load the truck for expo, head to expo, unload the expedition, unload the truck, Christa comes, unload her expedition.

Friday, up early head to expo (after Starbucks of course) we start setting up, half way done, Marco ( a dealer from Japan) comes and buys most of our furniture, now we need a new layout and MORE STUFF!!! Set up number 2 almost done when another dealer bumps my upper cabinet and tips it over breaking a bunch of vintage perfume bottles, set up again......Needless to say it was a scary, awesome and a exciting experience and we can't wait to do it again in July. This time we will be outside sharing two spots with Marci. Monday I spent the entire day junkin, those pictures will be posted soon.

We met some fantastic new friends and signed up some great vendors for the Whimsical Wishes show in April. Kay from Surprised by Joy will be at our show and Marci from Cottage Lights will also be a vendor.

Sure to be stocked full of fabulous finds.

I did manage to get a few pictures of our booth, between the waves of customers.
